Guest Truck and Van were delighted to support DFS with a cheque for £1,000 to support their charities The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award and Children In Need.

DFS have, during the last twenty years of supporting the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, helped over 3 million young people unlock their potential and build a brighter future. As a Gold Partner of the charity, DFS makes a significant contribution to helping inspire and empower young people, unlocking their potential and transforming their futures.

In 2014, DFS launched their award winning Service Managers Apprenticeship, and as part of this the apprentices are all working towards achieving their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award. DFS chose to include the DofE Award as part of their training to develop self confidence, self reliance and leadership skills, all traits which will mean the Service Managers of the future will continue to deliver great customer service.
