Leading Insulation Contractor Invests In Its 60 Strong Fleet With Brand New IVECO Dailys

A nationwide insulation contractor has taken delivery of 15 brand new IVECO Daily vehicles thanks to leading UK dealer Sherwood Truck and Van.

Miller Pattison - which works with national house builders throughout the UK to install innovative, energy-saving insulation solutions - has invested in its 60-strong fleet of commercial vehicles to help meet growing demand for its services across the country.

Sherwood Truck and Van has provided Miller Pattison with 15 IVECO Daily 35S14 Chassis Cab vehicles that can carry a payload of up to 1,115kg, all fitted with Luton 3.5T box bodies.

“These vans are perfect for Miller Pattison’s requirements, thanks to their low chassis height and high carrying capacity,” explained Peter Gould, Fleet Sales Executive at Sherwood Truck and Van.

“Miller Pattison uses its vehicles to insulate multiple houses across the UK on a daily basis, so it’s vital that its fleet is self-sufficient on site and well-equipped for the job.

“The brand-new IVECO Daily also includes the latest gearbox generation to provide absolute driving pleasure - it’s the first eight-speed automatic gearbox in the industry.

“The cab also has a three-decibel noise reduction which means vehicle acoustics are improved by 8% and the vehicle has been carefully designed to offer the utmost protection for the engine and transmission, resulting in up to 10% lower maintenance and repair costs.”

Chris Williams of Miller Pattison said the new vehicles had already proved much more reliable and cost-effective than the firm’s previous models.

“Our older vans were no longer capable of meeting our current and future requirements to provide the service our customers require,” explained Chris.

“We wanted new vehicles from a reputable brand and we wanted to work with a dealer that could offer us the complete service. We looked at a number of different dealerships but the team at Sherwood had fantastic knowledge of IVECO and were able to meet all of our requirements, including fleet management.”

Sherwood’s Sentinel fleet management service is a flexible and tailored approach to planned maintenance contracts, providing cost predictions for fleet managers that enable them to enjoy maximum operational efficiency.
