Parts Specialist Apprenticeships
Engineering the Next Generation of Parts Specialists
As a Parts Apprentice, you’ll help to keep the business running smoothly by ensuring the right parts are available when needed. You’ll build strong organisation, communication and customer service skills while gaining a solid understanding of vehicle components and how the automotive industry operates.
This Level 3 Apprenticeship runs over 18 months and includes eLearning, specialist training at the IVECO Academy in Winsford and a visit to our Parts Distribution Centre in Daventry.

What to expect on Your Parts Specialist Apprentice Experience
- 18-month structured training pathway leading to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Service and Repair.
- Not only will you gain a qualification, but you will also get paid a wage whilst doing so.
- You will gain a mix of skills and extensive knowledge whilst also learning the key behaviours needed to be part of our successful Parts Operations Team.
- You will be provided with a structured block training schedule for you to attend training at our state-of-the-art academy in Winsford
- Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be supported by a Skills Coach who will visit you in your dealership every 8-10 weeks. They will provide you with support, track your progress and address any training needs you may have.
Programme Entry Requirements
To become an IVECO Parts Vehicle Apprentice you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age and not in full time education
- Have GCSE grades 4-9 (A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Complete an online assessment and initial assessment
Application Process
Our application process is simple and designed to support you at every stage. Once you apply, our training partner Skillnet will guide you through the next steps.
STEP 2
Eligibility Checks
A recruiter from Skillnet will contact you to discuss your application. You’ll then be asked to complete short assessments in English and Maths, plus a technical assessment (for Heavy Vehicle applicants only). These should be completed within 5 working days.
STEP 3
Interview
If you meet the eligibility requirements, your CV will be shared with the hiring manager and an interview will be arranged.
STEP 4
Onboarding
If successful, the recruiter will work with the hiring manager to confirm your employment and training start date for your apprenticeship.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent(s) or carer(s) are welcome to be involved as part of the recruitment process, including listening to information, advice, and guidance calls with your recruitment consultant. Parent(s) or carer(s) are also encouraged to attend the first stage interview for additional support and to understand the working environment as well as how your apprenticeship will be delivered.
