New Strals hits the Road!

A. M. Phillip Trucktech Ltd has put a number of the NEW STRALIS Hi-WAY 6x2 Tractor Units into operation.  Amongst the new vehicles to go into action is a brace of units in the stunning launch colour of Brilliant Orange. Available for immediate demonstration, the first of these is an AS440S50TXP 6x2 flagship complete with a lifting and steering centre axle, a standard fitment on Hi-Way.  The familiar Cursor 13 500hp engine, coupled to the tried and trusted Eurotronic 12 speed semi-automatic gearbox, delivers the current EURO5 EEV engine emission standard using SCR technology only.  This will also be the single method used by Iveco to comply with the forthcoming EURO 6 emissions legislation which takes effect from 1st January 2014. Rounding off this striking workhorse is a host of extras including a double bunk, cab coloured bumper, in cab fridge, xenon headlights, LED day running lights and last but not least the new IVECONNECT telematics system.  The 500hp unit is targeted at smaller fleets and owner drivers who may require a higher horsepower, however the fleet operator is not left out as a similarly high specification 450hp version with the Cursor 10 SCR engine is also available.
