Sales team brush up on gas-powered trucks

The sales teams at Guest and Sherwood have had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of gas-powered trucks and vans at a specialist training day. 

Nick Pemberton, retail sales director, and Martin Flack, IVECO’s alternative fuels director, headed the training on the Iveco Stralis NP tractor unit, the IVECO Eurocargo and the IVECO Daily electric van. 

In total, 18 members of the sales team travelled to Peterborough, where they learned first-hand about the IVECO Stralis NP tractor unit, the IVECO Eurocargo and the Iveco Daily van – and the compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) options. 

Matthew Hunt, business development manager at Gasrec, the leading supplier for LNG fuel for road transport in North West Europe, also attended the training to tell the team about the options of providing temporary fuelling stations at depots, to enable IVECO gas-powered vehicle clients to fill up easily and conveniently.
